Is this a continuation of your Hot in Chicago firefighter series?

Yes and no. These stories pick up about five years after those books end and are focused on Engine 6, home of the Dempseys, the firefighting foster siblings in Hot in Chicago. So there are plenty of check-ins and cameos with the old crew, but no need to read the previous series to enjoy the new one.
